Nintendo World

Mii Plaza
Mii Plaza is the entrance of the park As soon as you enter Mii Plaza you know right away that the color scheme is white. All the buildings are white and glass. The buildings look futurist. Stores range from The Mii Closet, Nintendo, and Game Stop. Restaurants range from The Nintendo Café to Fun Foods. There is only one attraction in this theme and that is the Nintendo Monorail Station, which is a monorail that takes you to different areas of the park.

Nintendo Central also includes the park’s icon which is the Nintendo Studio. This is a building that is a collage of all the Nintendo game systems and characters. Inside is a museum like attraction which holds an area where kids could play video games in the ultimate experience, 3D and on a huge screen, in HD. Also you could get a sneak peek on the latest inventions and products Nintendo has in store for you. In Nintendo Central it too also looks futuristic. It holds 11 attractions. Nintendo: The Story, is a 20 minute show discussing the timeline of Nintendo from the beginning to modern day. Nintendo Museum, is a museum that holds some of Nintendo’s most valuable pieces and history. Carnival Midway, is based on Carnival Games, Here guest can play digital video games and win prizes, also there is Mini Golf, and also one ride which is the infamous zipper like ride called, Total Chaos. Sonic Adventures is a dark story based ride which riders follow the Tales of Sonic. Super Smash Cars the classic bumper cars ride where riders get to ride the bumper cars, and each car has a different Nintendo character on it. Wii Gym, is a gym where you are able to do yoga, or exercise, the Wii Gym is also open to official Nintendo Premium Members for anytime use during 7:00am-9:00pm, which is longer because Wii Gym’s normal hours are 11:00am-4:00pm. NintenGoRound is a carrousel where riders could ride their favorite characters. Wii Arcade is an arcade where everything is digital and played using the Wii. Thriville: Design and Ride, is a motion simulator/robotic arm type tide where riders are able to build their own track and then virtually ride it. Big Brain Academy is a game where guest could test their smarts on the game show Big Brain Academy.

Mushroom Kingdom
Mushroom Kingdom is the centerpiece of Nintendo World. Based on the classic Super Mario Game. As soon as you enter you notice the main structure, Peach’s Castle, which holds Peach’s Love Swans. The trees are squared/pixilated and you can also see mushrooms, bombs, turtles and other Mario icons around this theme area of the park. Mushroom Kingdom holds 13 attractions. Mario to the Rescue, which is a story based ride which follows the basic Mario saving Peach theme. Browser’s Haunted Castle, a scary dark ride which is like the Haunted Mansion in DL, in this ride you pass your favorite boss’ and end with Bowser blowing fire at you. Super Mario Galaxy, is an indoor roller coaster which is a flying coaster. You zip in pitch black passing stars and planets. Mario Sunshine Splash Down, is a water battle type ride. Bowser:The Ride, is a suspended coaster which includes darkness, fire, and of course Bowser. Lugi’s Haunted Mansion, is like the Toy Story Mania from DCA, except this time you ride the Poltergeist 3000 and try to suck up all the ghost. This ride is a bit jumpy but a great ride for the whole family. Lugi’s Bounce House is enclosed in a mushroom, basically it’s a bounce house except you have the freedom to jump higher than usual. Wario Cycles, is carnival like ride based on Wario on which kids are able to ride motorcycles on a circular track. Mario Party is an arcade with games based on Mario Party. Mario Karts is a fun go kart racing ride. Super Mario Playground, is a playground where kids could crawl through tunnels, jump on mushrooms, slide down slides, and even punch foes on the way. Yoshi Story is a dark story based ride where riders travel through Yoshi Island through scenes from the video game.

Pokemon Stadium
To enter Pokemon Stadium you pass through the main stadium gates. As you get into it you notice it seems like there are millions of people watching you on the bleachers. In this area there is only one restaurant and one shop, Pokemon Snacks, and Poke Mall. This area has basic theming which is the Pokeomon Stadium. In Pokemon stadium there are 5 attractions. The Battle Frontier, the main ride here, basically it’s a motion simulator ride but under is a high tech robotic arm type ride, the riders are watching a 3 minute action movie in digital 3D which you see your favorite Pokemon battle. Jigglypuff Flyers is like the Dumbo ride at DL except riders ride cars shaped like jiggly puff and also it is a little faster. Pokeomon Carrousel, is a carrousel where riders ride on there favorite pokeomon. Team Rockets Balloon Race, is a balloon racer type ride where riders ride parachutes on a suspended circular track, based on the Team Rockets. Pokemon Showdown 4D, is an experience like no other, this 20 minute show is a great digital experience, it’s a quick movie that involves pokemon, and new characters.

Dreamland
As soon as you enter dreamland you notice a small replica of King DeeDee’s Castle. Dreamland is based on Kirby’s Dreamland. Dreamland includes 5 attractions. King DeeDee, a tea cup like ride except themed to be riding on King DeeDee.. Cloud Swings is a swing type ride, riders ride on cloud shaped cars that swing gentle around the Dreamland Tree. Kirby Wheel, is a Ferris wheel in which riders ride cars that looks like Kirby. The Kirby Flyer, is a small coaster for children. Nightmare in Dreamland, is the main ride in this area, it is a spinning steel coaster where riders travel along a steel track spinning through loops and sharp turns.

DK Jungle
The DK Jungle is based on the jungles from the classic video game, Donkey Kong. Many trees and foliage cover this area of the park. There are 4 attractions in this area. Diddy Kong Jet Packs, is a suspended harpin coaster on which the riders ride cars to look like jetpacks and they make sharp turns and go down short steep hills. DK’s Music Room, is an attraction similar to the Enchanted Tiki Room at DL except Donkey Kong is in there with his band playing live music for the audience. Ice Climbers Voyage, is a ride where the riders must pull themselves up to top and when they reach the top the car will race down, or for a more gentle ride it could float down, or mild, it could bounce down. DK River Rapids, the main attraction in this area, it is a rapids ride like no other, Riders race down hills, chase through waterfalls, bump through rapids and whirlpools, and of course come upon some high tech water technology not seen any where else!

Adventure Woods
Adventure Woods holds some of Nintendo World’s greatest attractions. This area includes 9 attractions. Link’s Log Ride, is log flume type ride where the riders ride through a storyline based on Link’s life in the woods, ending with a plunge down a 60 foot drop. The Legend of Zelda is the main attraction of the whole park, it’s a coaster with a rare design which is the Robotic Arm Coaster, riders travel through gentle scenes until Grandorf appears with a high tech hologram ride in front of everyone sending the passengers outside and racing to the finish with great twist and turns. Metroid Laser Tag, is the ultimate laser tag experience, it is a building filled with props and animatronics from Metorid Prime and with a full 5 minute game play. Samus, is an Air powered coaster that sends the riders from 0 to 100mph and up 350 feet and racing to the finish down two helixes ending with an AA Samus. 1080 Summit is a stand up motion simulator ride which you feel like your plummeting down a snow boarding hill. Olamar’s Flight, is a motion simulator which gives you G’s, you watch a 5 minute film of Olamar’s voyage through space and come through some very tough obstacles. Dolphin! LIVE, is a 15 minute dolphin show where dolphins create a mystic adventure show using some the most high tech visual effects in the business, based on the classic game, Dolphin. Stunt Race FX is a great high powered ride in which riders race each other though action scenes from explosions at a gas station to a collapsing bridge. Star Fox is a suspended ride in which riders ride Armwings and race through space and then plummet outside to finish the adventure.

The Nintendo Birthday Bash-Celebrate the birthday if Nintendo with a lower ticket price for the month and also new parades.
Bowser’s Insanity Fest- Halloween time is here and Bowser and the other Villains have token over the Park. Watch and ride through all your favorite attractions now transformed into scary ones! Even new mazes are added for you walk through!
Nintendo Holidays of Fun- Come spend Christmas time with us! New Holiday Parades and shows, some rides get new theming, and the whole park sparkles with lights and snow. Even watch as it begins to snow in the park and watch our incredible Firework Spectacular.
Peach’s Carnival of Love- During the 2 weeks of February all tickets are at a lower price and the Resort bundle which includes 4 tickets to the park, 1 hotel room, and half price of water park comes out at a great price of $300. But when that promotion is over the park’s overall theme of Valentine’s day still stays up until the middle of March.
Nintendo Beach Party- A summer themed paradise. New parades and shows and the greatest thing is that in May through September 1st, Nintendo’s Water World opens!
